Decanter’s tasting director chats to the Decanter World Wine Award judges and finds out their favourite London wine haunts. It is a privilege to live in London. We Londoners have so many vinous and gastronomic delights on our doorstep. But when I first moved to London 20 years ago from my native France it was a different story. If you wanted a nice glass of wine with great food, your only option was a formal dining restaurant with starched tablecloths and snooty waiters.
